The First Lego League Middle TN Qualifier at Adventure Science Center is an opportunity for students to compete as their robots go head-to-head in a friendly competition focused on research, problem-solving, coding, and engineering.
Lunch is included for those who volunteer all day.
IMPORTANT: Before you can volunteer for First Lego League, all 18+ volunteers must sign up through TNFirst to undergo their background check and virtual training.
If you would like to be First Lego League volunteer, please sign up using these instructions:

- Visit - https://www.firstinspires.org/ways-to-help/volunteer/how-to-register
- Click “Start Volunteer Registration.”
- Click “Sign up here” to create a FIRST Account.
- Verify Email (check your email inbox, could take a couple of minutes to receive the email).
- Once you’re logged in, click the Volunteer Registration bar.
- Select “Event Volunteering.”
- Type in “Adventure Science Center” in the venue box & apply filters.
- When the correct event pops up, click “Volunteer.”
- Choose 5 volunteer positions you are interested in.
- Select “complete.”
- Select “Begin Youth Protection Screen” at the top of page.
- Click “Go to Screening Partner” on the bottom of the page - this will take you to the Sterling Volunteers website.
- Complete the required steps & wait for your background screen report to be completed (this process can take 1-5 business days).
- Once your background check is completed, Mackenzie O’Rourke, the program coordinator at Adventure Science Center, will reach out to you with your role and any further information!
