Red, White, and BOOM!  Get Connected Icon

Description

Celebrate the Fourth of July with science, sparkles, and skyline views at Adventure Science Center! Volunteers will support our Red, White & BOOM! event on Saturday, July 4, from 6:00–10:00 pm, helping create a memorable after-hours experience for guests. There are two shifts for Red, White and Boom. A shift from 5:00-9:00 pm that will help with setup and activity facilitation, for volunteers under 18 that may have a curfew. This shift does leave before the fireworks. The other shift will help with activity facilitation from 6:00-10:00 pm, concluding when the event ends, after the fireworks.

The evening includes exploring the science center after hours, engaging activities, laser shows, and time on the lawn for a front-row view of Nashville’s fireworks—no downtown crowds required. Volunteers play a key role in assisting with activities, supporting guest flow, and helping ensure a fun and safe celebration for all.

Volunteers will also get a great view of the fireworks show. Please consider carpooling if possible. All volunteers will receive a parking pass to park behind the street closure. Come celebrate Independence Day while helping us inspire curiosity and discovery!

Leaving during the fireworks display will not be possible. Volunteers may leave before lights are turned off for the fireworks or after the event ends at 10:00 PM. There will be a designated pickup location for volunteers that do not drive. We ask that volunteers who are under 18, or may have a curfew, register for the 5:00-9:00 pm shift.
